This is a tumblebook. A scrapbook that rambles on about everything. I'll include songs from my favourite bands, and other neat things. I might change the style, occasionally, as well. Oh, and the credit for the amazing title goes to the wonderful photographer, ßlϋeωãvε on Flickr. I'll try and keep a link to him on every page.

Good Day At School

  • Teacher: Human Rights are very important to us all. Now, Ben, can you give me an idea of one of the most important Human Rights?
  • Ben: Food, and Clothing.
  • Teacher: Well done, Ben. And now, Aulis, could you tell me why we need food and clothing?
  • Aulis: Well, they're necessary, aren't they. You'd die without them (pause,) unless you were a fasting nudist.
Trees fascinate me. Especially paintings of trees. This is from the Rijks Collection in Amsterdam, and is by an artist called Jan van Goyen. The paintings official title is Landscape With Two Oaks. Click here for more information.

Music

I love music. Love it, and one of my favourite bands at the moment is an Australian group, called The Cat Empire. They have a really distinctive sound, and make amazing music. You can find out more about them here and here, and what follows are some photos with captions.

Please note, we have added a consequence for failure. Any contact with the chamber floor will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your official testing record, followed by death. Good luck.
— GlaDOS again
You are now in possession of the Aperture Science handheld portal device. With it, you can create your own portal. These inter-dimensional gates have proven to be completely safe. The device, however, has not. Do not touch the operational end of the device. Do not look directly at the operational end of the device. Do not submerge the device in liquid, even partially. Most importantly, under no circumstances should you *static*
— GlaDOS from aforementioned portal game
This is a piece of art based on a game called Portal. The game is astonishing. You are a test subject in a terrible facility called Aperture Science. Your only weapon is the Handheld Portal Device, which can great portals through walls to other places. The white device on the floor is said portal gun. Click the photo for more information

Audio

A little disappointing, isn’t it. Only a measly 10mb doesn’t let you do anything! Ah well.
